After testing the SP1 of Windows Vista, I was disappointed by a hardware problem on the older drives LG.
I have a burner LG gsa 4165b and when I put a DVD in the drive, Windows Vista no longer meets.
Even at the start of Vista, if I have a cd in the drive, it refuses to boot.
I then walked the webside of LG to find drivers for Vista but they are not available.I deleted on regedit the lower filtrers and upper filtrers
as the site of microsoft told me.As a result , I use windows xp.

Is it possible to develop a patch for optical drives LG old generation???
I hope that you will do what is necessary.
