    I use Win32 but was beginning the process moving to Winforms when WPF finally got to the point where it seemed like it was actually going to be here soon so I am skipping them and moving to WPF with all that that brings to the table.  Hopefully they will allow some really innovative UI work to come out the developers.  And I don't mean doing-it-because-you-can type stuff but really intuitive and aesthetic designs just weren't possible or worth the work before.

    VB.net 2005 from VS 2005 student teacher edition. got it for 80 bucks at the colledge bookstore.
