How do you view this file? When I look at it, it makes reference to a folder on C: which I don't have...

It's an MHT file, a single file web page. You should be able to view it in your browser. If you're having trouble, just right click on the download button -> Save Target As and save it locally. You can also open it in Microsoft Word.

The file does open on Microsoft Word for OSX and looks pretty good but at page 11 a multi-part dump takes place for the next 145 pages: < ------=_NextPart_01C6E0E9.1F92BD30 Content-Location: ... I find that PDF works best for content distribution. Thanks for sharing though.

I had the same experience as matt raj using Microsoft Word for OSX. I'm all for improvements to UI's. (We've come a long way since CPS86/80) but maybe, just maybe veteran Mac users might be able to help if they could read about what you're trying to accomplish.

Nice document. Thank you for sharing it. I would be interested to know how you check that the software adheres to the spec and how far do you go? Do you go as far as counting pixels?

Pod - That's where the tester comes in. When the tester gets the the spec, they create a test matrix of all the scenarios covered in the spec. The tester then uses the test matrix (and the spec) to verify everything was implemented correctly. Over time, they write regression tests to verify that nothing has regressed in the future. Livingston - thanks for the tip, I just updated the description to help people out.

Bennish, I think sysnop means Vista is more like Apple UI, bigger and less customizable? I relly miss the refresh, up, cut, copy, paste, delete toolbar buttons, and I use smaller Explorer Windows so breadcrumbs are not useful most of the times. I also miss being able to go "up" to the desktop. But the search panel is worth it :)

I open the file in Interet Explorer 7 in Vista x32 Ultimate, but don't get images. Just a security information bar. Clicking it and "allow" results in "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage." - Works fine in Opera 9.20.
